Finding the correct balance in the three aspects of the triple bottom line can be challenging. Sustainability issues involve everyone in your organization- from the CEO to the janitor. They all have varying degrees of understanding, involvement, and perspectives about what can be done to assist in making your company more sustainable.

We’ve developed a different approach to some of the traditional methods of sustainability consulting. Our long term goal is to help develop a corporate culture that permeates all departments in a company to be focused on the triple bottom line – one that focuses not just on profits, but realizes that those profits are impacted by environmental and social issues.

Planet Partnership® believes that everyone in the organization must be invited to participate in achieving that goal. The roles for various players may differ in degree, but for it to be a true cultural shift, real changes in thinking and attitude must occur throughout the company.

Many businesses are at the beginning of their focus on sustainability, so the first step is education. Education develops understanding and awareness, which leads to consequential action. We begin our journey by focusing on all employees as individuals, then turn our focus to management.

We use our training programs and management seminars, to provide education on various sustainability issues, and teach how to partner creatively with others to problem solve and create relevant change. Employees are asked to use this knowledge not only in their personal lives, but to brainstorm solutions for their workplace so the business becomes more sustainable as well. Involving your employees, your most valuable business asset, makes them feel valued and creates the necessary buy-in to get everyone on board for new initiatives.

We can help you create your green team, provide a sustainability assessment, or coordinate waste, water, energy audits and carbon measurements.
